Speech therapy supports individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. It can help both children and adults improve clarity, fluency, comprehension, and confidence in communication. It is also vital for addressing conditions such as stuttering, speech delays, voice disorders, or post-stroke language issues.
A speech therapy session begins with an assessment to understand your specific needs, whether related to speech, language, or swallowing. Based on this, the therapist will guide you through targeted exercises and activities, which may include articulation drills, language games, reading exercises, or oral motor tasks. The sessions are interactive and adapted to your age and goals, with progress reviewed regularly and activities often continued at home for best results.
